• New Reading Books Added to Learning Zone

  The school's subscription to the This Week magazine is now available for parents and children to access via the link in our Learning Zone.

   

  Also, Oxford Owl have now added all of their Floppy’s Phonics books to the selection of Ebooks that children can already access at home (if they have a suitable device). Parents need to register (free) to access any of the Ebooks. If you click on eBooks and then this drop down Levels List (in the picture below) you can filter on the books (Book Bands) appropriate for your child.
  
  As a rough guide:
  • Reception Class: pink and red
  • Year One: yellow, blue, green and orange
  • Year Two: turquoise, purple and gold
  • Year Three: white and lime
  • Year Four: brown and grey
  • Year Five: dark blue
  • Year Six: dark red

• Car Park Access

  We are working with Ryhope Infant School Academy to try and ensure that the shared car park is a safe place for all the children and adults who use it each day.

  We have sent a letter out today to make sure everybody knows who is allowed to park and where they can park. The full letter is also on the Newsletter section of the website.

  From Monday 29^th October the two Site Supervisors will be at the gates every morning and afternoon to ensure that people know where they can park.

   

  We hope you will support the schools to make the site a safer place.
