Pizza making

Our Geography topic this half term focuses on Italy. We have looked at where Italy is located on a map, and looked in depth at the some of the most popular tourist attractions. As part of the topic the children participated in a food technology lesson. The children designed their own pizza before they became chefs and made their own. The children used pitta breads as the base, tomato puree for the sauce, and then chose the toppings they would like from the following; cheese, ham, mushrooms and sweetcorn. The best part of the afternoon was definitely the eating of the pizzas!
